Breakfast casserole


I love this breakfast casserole! It’s perfect on the holidays when you have a bunch of people together because it feeds many people 🙂 My favorite part is that you can make it the night before or make it ahead and freeze it!

I got it from simply recipes.

What you need:
1 pound sausage- browned and drained
4 1/2 cups of cubed bread
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
10 eggs slightly beaten
4 cups of whole milk
Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
Optional: your favorite omelette toppings like mushrooms, bacon, tomatoes, etc

1- cook and crumble the sausage- set aside
2- Place cubed bread in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle cheese over bread. Combine eggs, milk, and spices. Pour over bread mixture. Sprinkle sausage and any other ingredients on top.
3- Cover and freeze, cover and chill over night, or bake uncovered at 325 for 1 hour.
