Roasted Cabbage Steaks

I promise this is so good! My mom gave me this recipe, and it’s a great side for a quick weeknight dinner or guests. We actually had it with steaks.

You will need:
– olive oil
– garlic
– cabbage
– garlic salt

Preheat your oven to 400. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Pour olive oil and mix garlic to taste.

Slice cabbage. Two generous 1/2 inch slices is 2 cups.

Place on pan and toss in garlic/ olive oil mixture. Sprinkle with garlic salt to taste. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes and toss again. They will start to brown, but you want them to because they will start to look like floppy onion rings. Remove when they fit your taste (thicker=sweet and browned=crunchy).
